Make Resolutions that Stick
Stick to your resolutions this year by making only those with which you're 100% comfortable. Small accomplishments and steady progress are better than failing with big plans. -Dr. Alden Cass
At the start of each year, be honest with yourself about what you are willing to do to grow your business. Stop giving yourself credit for getting close to your goals, but not having achieved them. Either set them realistically, and make it happen, or don't set them at all.
Do some soul searching: Look within yourself and see how much time and effort you can invest in meeting your expectations. Assess when you need to be home with your spouse, significant other or children, and figure out how many seminars or networking events you can realistically attend on a monthly basis. You get no credit for simply setting goals or stating new resolutions each year, because, as you know, the one thing you're after is high production numbers. Stick to your resolutions this year by making only those with which you're 100% comfortable. Small accomplishments and steady progress are better than failing with big plans.
