Use Google ALerts

If you want to make a difference in your clients' lives you need to deliver something they don't know yet. That magic is found in a little-known service called Google Alerts. To get to this valuable tool you have to drill down a bit deeper into the Google service. On the homepage you'll see in the upper left-hand corner: Web, Images, Maps, News, Shopping, GMail, More. If you click on More, you will be presented with another series of choices, one of which is Even More. If you hit that you reach a page where your upper left-hand column choice is Alerts. If you don't yet have a Google account you'll have to create one, but they're free and it only takes a minute. You'll be asked to enter a search term. If we continue our marine biologist example, you might enter "friendship sloop" and "sustainable seafood." You would also want to tag your client with those labels.
